Server

Emiko has worked for Merriman’s Waimea as a Server for two decades; she celebrated her 20th year with the company in early 2026. She has seen the restaurant grow and change over the years and remains steady and rooted in her spirit of aloha. She is the quintessence of hospitality. Not only is she a pillar of our service, but she is also the lead trainer for our new employees. She is colloquially named the “mom” of the night crew, gently nudging everyone toward center when she thinks something is askew. Emiko’s deep love and care stretches beyond the restaurant walls as she also cares for the animals with which we share this beautiful town. Anyone who has worked with Emiko knows that she loves and is loved by all.
