Valet – Part-Time Position
Merriman’s Kapalua is hiring Valets.
This role is a guest-facing position focused on creating a welcoming first impression while delivering efficient and professional valet service. Valets play an important role in ensuring a seamless arrival and departure experience for every guest.
Responsibilities
Greet guests with a warm smile and professional demeanor
Efficiently park and retrieve guest vehicles
Run to and from parking areas to ensure prompt service
Organize and manage vehicle keys and parking tickets accurately
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized parking area
Handle guest inquiries and concerns with enthusiasm and professionalism
Requirements
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Ability to pass a background check
Must be 25 years of age or older
Ability to run quickly and maintain stamina throughout shifts
Excellent customer service skills with a positive, can-do attitude
Strong organizational skills to manage keys and tickets
Ability to work in various weather conditions
Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Knowledge of standard and automatic transmissions and electric vehicles
Pay and Benefits
Base pay: $16.00 per hour plus tips
Medical, dental, vision, short-term and long-term disability, and life insurance available
401(k) plan eligibility after 1 year
PTO: Up to 40 hours during years 1–2, 80 hours after year 3, and 120 hours after year 4
50% employee dining discount (valid at other Merriman’s Restaurants and Monkeypod)

Compensation: $16.00 per hour
