Server – Full-Time Position
Merriman’s Kauai is seeking experienced and passionate Servers to join our guest experience team.
Located in Poipu on Kauai’s south shore, Merriman’s reflects the spirit of Hawaii Regional Cuisine with a strong commitment to local sourcing, sustainable partnerships, and genuine hospitality.
At Merriman’s, the Server position represents the pinnacle of our front-of-house experience. Servers are trusted ambassadors of our brand, responsible for creating meaningful connections with guests and delivering exceptional service each night. Extensive knowledge of our menu, wines, cocktails, and local ingredients is essential, along with a dedication to providing the best guest experience in the world.
Responsibilities:
Provide warm, professional, and attentive service throughout the guest experience
Demonstrate detailed knowledge of food menus, daily specials, wines, cocktails, and pairings
Take and accurately enter food and beverage orders using the POS system
Deliver food and beverages efficiently while maintaining presentation standards
Ensure guest satisfaction during all stages of service
Serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in compliance with all regulations
Perform side work duties and assist with maintaining a clean dining environment
Support team members and contribute to a positive, fast-paced service culture
Qualifications:
Passion for hospitality, food, wine, and guest experience
Strong communication and presentation skills
Knowledge of local ingredients, farms, seafood, and producers
Understanding of dietary restrictions and guest preferences
Experience with fine dining service standards preferred
Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Employment Type: Full Time
Compensation: Competitive hourly wage + tips (based on experience)
