Line Cook – Full-Time Position
Merriman’s Honolulu is seeking a full-time Line Cook to join our kitchen team in Ward Village.
This role supports dinner service on the hot line and grill, helping us deliver consistent, high-quality plates that meet our standards and guest expectations.
What You’ll Do
Cook on the hot line and grill during dinner service
Plate dishes to Merriman’s standards and expectations
Assist with kitchen prep when needed
Clean and break down your station at the end of the night
Support an efficient, team-driven kitchen environment under pressure
What We’re Looking For
High-volume restaurant experience preferred
Strong desire to learn
Ability to properly prepare hot dishes including proteins, pastas, and sides
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Ability to multitask and adapt quickly during busy service periods
Clear communication skills
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 8 hours or more)
Ability to bend, reach, lift, and carry (50+ lbs) and push/pull up to 100 lbs
Ability to work in variable temperatures and noise levels
Hearing and near-vision required to perform close-range tasks safely
