Line Cook – Full-Time Position

Merriman’s Honolulu is seeking a full-time Line Cook to join our kitchen team in Ward Village.
This role supports dinner service on the hot line and grill, helping us deliver consistent, high-quality plates that meet our standards and guest expectations.

What You’ll Do

  • Cook on the hot line and grill during dinner service

  • Plate dishes to Merriman’s standards and expectations

  • Assist with kitchen prep when needed

  • Clean and break down your station at the end of the night

  • Support an efficient, team-driven kitchen environment under pressure

What We’re Looking For

  • High-volume restaurant experience preferred

  • Strong desire to learn

  • Ability to properly prepare hot dishes including proteins, pastas, and sides

  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment

  • Ability to multitask and adapt quickly during busy service periods

  • Clear communication skills

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 8 hours or more)

  • Ability to bend, reach, lift, and carry (50+ lbs) and push/pull up to 100 lbs

  • Ability to work in variable temperatures and noise levels

  • Hearing and near-vision required to perform close-range tasks safely
