Baker – Full-Time Position

Merriman’s Honolulu is seeking a full-time Baker to join our kitchen team in Ward Village.
This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in consistency, craftsmanship, and working with high-quality ingredients in a fast-paced professional kitchen.

What You’ll Do

• Prepare baked goods and pastry items following standardized recipes

• Measure, portion, knead, roll, cut, and shape dough for breads, buns, pizza dough, and pastry items

• Monitor ovens, proofers, and baking conditions to ensure quality and consistency

• Finish and decorate baked goods using glazes, toppings, or piping techniques

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of baking equipment, workstations, and storage areas

Requirements

• TB clearance

• Food handler’s card (ServSafe or comparable)

• ServSafe certification on file within 30 days of hire

• Ability to work on your feet for extended periods and lift kitchen supplies as needed

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented kitchen environment

Pay & Benefits

• Total pay: $24.00–$30.00 per hour
  (Base pay $18–$22 per hour plus kitchen service charge)
