Merriman's Restaurant in Waimea is closed on Christmas Day and Annual Summer Employee Party.

Employees may request participation in various forms of on going education. In addition to our scholarship programs, our staff frequently attend seminars, go to cooking classes, and recieve support toward post secondary education.

There are frequent wine tastings provided in-house to educate employees about our changing wine menu. Also keeping our employees up-to-date are free Big Island wine seminars, featuring educators and wine tastings from around the world.
